I think I can safely say I'm the only person who once travelled 600 miles to Acadia National Park and spent four hours taking pictures of a gravel pit.
I live in a part of Brooklyn separated from the river by a wide swath of industrial complexes. My work has slid toward documenting the desolate quality of these areas, when it's clear something happened and will happen, but for the moment are quiet, full of forms that frustrate the false distinction between natural and unnatural.
Currently, my only uploaded work is for the exposure competition.
